The car in front of you comes to a stop to take a left. What do you do?

What if the car is taking a right?

Stop and wait for them to turn

Depends on how wide a shoulder and how much of a hurry I'm in. Usually stop and wait. If traffic's bad or they're particularly slow, I'll go around if it's safe to do so.

If the car is turning right, pass in oncoming, if car is turning left pass on right shoulder.

Typically stop and wait because I'm usually not in a hurry. Then go around if needed and it's safe.

Slow down and let them turn: Turn to page 86

Pass on left: Turn to page 54

Follow them, they could be up to no good: Turn to page 18

And always leave your finger on the current spot in case your decision ends in death or capture.

I will admit that I have once passed a left-turner by going completely off the road, but to be fair they had missed multiple (like 5 or 6) opportunities and there was a steady steam of traffic coming. I would have been there for 10 minutes. Haven't done it since though. Not planning on it either. That was not the safest or most legal move.

T-Intersections

Left: If there is a shoulder, use it.

Right: They shouldn't take long. If they do, and traffic permits, pass on the left.

X-Intersections

Depends entirely on where the traffic is and what it's doing. Probably best to wait.

At high-traffic T-intersections, they sometimes extend the shoulder to allow pseudo-legal passing. So, that, but only if it's actually possible.

Slam into them at 70,drag them out of the car and beat them, steal their money, and drive off in their car. #GTA5Life

You're better than me. Yesterday I just barreled past on the right half way sideways up the snowbank. Slow down for what? Left turns? Nope.

It is what I do also.

Rarely do I drive on a road with a shoulder wider than 1-2 feet (excluding highways). I usually can't pass on the right even if I wanted to, so you get used to it.

I had to wait for car one to turn left, then when he was able to turn I was able to squeeze in between car two and the snowbank. There are some places I can't pass like in the city but if I can, I usually do.

Well the legal answer depends on the line, dashed or solid. I have a similar dashed road on my way home pretty much daily. If they're making a right and the oncoming is clear, I pass. If they're making a left I wait.

If you're an idiot you pass him on the left and almost get turned into like the idiot did to me once.
